Samsung Electronics to Hold Global Strategy Meeting from 17th to 19th to Discuss Next Year's Business Strategy

Samsung Electronics will hold a global strategy meeting from the 17th to the 19th to discuss next year's business plans. The meeting is expected to review and discuss new product sales in the global market and business goals.
According to industry sources on the 12th, Samsung Electronics' Device Experience (DX) division will hold its global strategy meeting on the 17th and 18th, while the Semiconductor (DS) division will hold its meeting on the 19th.
Han Jong-hee, Vice Chairman and head of the DX division, and Jeon Young-hyun, Vice Chairman and head of the DS division, are expected to preside over their respective meetings. Chairman Lee Jae-yong is known not to attend the meetings as in previous years but will receive reports on business strategies afterward. About 200 people from the DX division and around 100 from the DS division are expected to attend the meetings.
Samsung Electronics' global strategy meetings are held twice a year, in June and December, where domestic and overseas executives gather to share current issues by business division and region, and discuss next year's business goals and sales strategies.

This meeting is expected to cover measures to restore Samsung Electronics' fundamental competitiveness, sales strategies and business goals for next year's new products such as the Galaxy S25. It will also share plans for global supply of key products and marketing strategies. Additionally, risk hedging strategies in response to changes in the global business environment, such as high exchange rates (won depreciation), are also expected to be discussed.
