View original imageAccording to the police and fire authorities, around 1:27 PM that day, a 25-ton truck was making a left turn on the road near Beopgot IC in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, when two containers of loaded chemical substances fell onto the road.
As a result of the accident, chemicals spilled onto the road, and related authorities such as the fire department and police spread sand to manage the situation. The police controlled one of the two lanes for two hours, causing traffic congestion.
The chemical substance involved was identified as a release agent used in plating work and was determined not to be hazardous.
