Cheon Haram: "Han Dong-hoon, Pretending to Be the Crown Prince of the Rebel Leader... Falling into Ruin by Scheming"
MBC Radio Statement: "I Will Wield Actual Power"
Cheon Ha-ram, floor leader of the Reform New Party, criticized the failure of the impeachment against President Yoon Seok-yeol, saying, "People Power Party's Han Dong-hoon wanted to become a 'small president' and arrogantly claimed to be the crown prince of the leader of the rebellion."
On the day, Floor Leader Cheon appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' and responded to the question, "Do you think there was some sort of deal between President Yoon and Representative Han?" by saying, "I think so." He added, "(Han) is either the crown prince of the leader of the rebellion or a beneficiary of the rebellion," and claimed, "He is protecting the leader of the rebellion and extending this person's rule, saying that he will wield real power and exercise authority similar to a responsible prime minister like a small president."

Floor Leader Cheon said, "Is Han Dong-hoon an economic expert or a policy expert? The only thing he can boast about is being a legal professional," and argued, "He said he would defeat the criminal Lee Jae-myung as a righteous prosecutor Han Dong-hoon, but now he is not even a righteous legal professional. Didn't Han Dong-hoon ask for the impeachment to be rejected this time so he could act as a small president?"
Floor Leader Cheon mentioned Rep. Cho Kyung-tae, who initially supported impeachment but switched to opposing it, saying, "I will follow Representative Han's will." He added, "The other pro-Han Dong-hoon faction members are probably similar. In the end, they actively cooperated and collaborated in extending the term of the leader of the rebellion, Yoon Seok-yeol."

He added, "The level of the people is truly not even close to the level of the ruling party lawmakers, which is very regrettable."
Floor Leader Cheon criticized the People Power Party as an 'unconstitutional party.' He said, "If individual lawmakers or individual parties could request a constitutional court ruling on unconstitutional parties, I think the party dissolution would be approved after the impeachment vote," and sharply stated, "(The People Power Party) is an unconstitutional party. They systematically protected Yoon Seok-yeol, the leader of the rebellion, as a party line." However, he added, "Unfortunately, currently only the government can request party dissolution trials."

Floor Leader Cheon also expressed agreement with the Democratic Party's plan to reintroduce the impeachment motion on the 14th. He said, "It is unacceptable to leave such a crazy leader of the rebellion in the position of commander-in-chief of the armed forces even for a moment." He added, "I believe the people will ultimately win, and I think the impeachment will pass next time."
