Police Form Special Investigation Team for Emergency Martial Law... "Investigation According to Law and Principles"

Currently, there are a total of four reported cases related to the emergency martial law. The complainants include 59 individuals such as members of the Democratic Party, the Joguk Innovation Party, the Progressive Party, and the chairman of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions. The charges include rebellion and abuse of authority under the Criminal Act, and rebellion under the Military Criminal Act.
Woo Jong-su, head of the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency, stated at an urgent hearing of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee the previous day, "We will handle the cases promptly according to established laws and procedures."
