They aim to raise the ceiling height by up to 40cm to create a differentiated sense of openness and spaciousness. Even a 10cm increase in ceiling height significantly enhances the sense of space. Generally, increasing ceiling height raises costs and construction difficulty.
A Hyundai Engineering & Construction official said, "We gave meaning to the windows not simply as openings but as huge canvases capturing the outside scenery and as gateways connecting the interior with nature," adding, "The design that brings premium views of the Han River, Namsan, and Yongsan Park indoors offers residents a special sense of space as if staying in nature."
The 2.5m high panoramic windows will feature the Miracle Window function, which allows free adjustment of transparency during day and night. Residents can enjoy the outside view during the day and block external sightlines at night, satisfying both panoramic views and privacy protection.
The height of bedroom windows was also increased. While typical bedroom windows are 1 to 1.5m high, windows with a height of 2.4m, suitable for a high-end complex by the Han River, were installed so residents can enjoy the outside scenery even from their bedrooms.
