"Today the Sun Shines Brightly, Still Feeling Like You Are Here" Gwanghwamun Wall Poem 'Winter Edition' Renovated
The Gwanghwamun Letter Board approaches citizens with a warm message of encouragement for the winter season.
This winter edition of the Gwanghwamun Letter Board features a poem titled "Dialogue" by poet Yu Hee-kyung. Poet Yu debuted in 2007 with the play "Trapping the Stars" at the New Play Festival hosted by the Korea National University of Arts, and the following year won the poetry category of the Chosun Ilbo New Year's Literary Contest. She has been actively producing works, publishing poetry collections such as "Words This Morning," "We Were Gods for a Moment," and essay collections like "Words of the Shining Night" and "At Least One Somewhere in the World."
On the 2nd, the Gwanghwamun Billboard 'Winter Edition' was unveiled on the front of the Kyobo Life Building in Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul. This Gwanghwamun Billboard 'Winter Edition' is excerpted from the poem "Dialogue" by poet Yu Hee-kyung, conveying an encouraging message to reflect on and appreciate the precious people who always support us, just as warmth is felt when sunlight shines even in the cold winter.
