President Yoon Suk-yeol instructed the Ministers of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 27th to "mobilize all snow removal personnel and equipment to thoroughly manage the situation so that no harm comes to the public due to traffic accidents or congestion."
President Yoon gave this urgent directive to prepare for heavy snow damage after receiving a report on the heavy snowfall situation in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, and other regions, President's Office spokesperson Jeong Hye-jeon stated in a written briefing.
President Yoon said, "Since a large amount of snow is expected by tomorrow morning, please promptly deliver traffic and weather information to the public to ensure that no damage or inconvenience occurs due to the heavy snow."
