Dankook University: 29 Professors Selected Among Top 29% Scientists Worldwide
Dankook University announced that 29 of its professors have been selected as 'World's Top 2% Scientists'.
According to the university on the 19th, Stanford University in the United States and Elsevier, a global publishing company in science, technology, and medicine, select the world's top 2% scientists by analyzing the citation impact of researchers who have published at least five papers in 22 major academic fields and 174 subfields, based on the academic paper database 'Scopus (SCOPUS)'.
At Dankook University, professors from departments such as Medicine, Dentistry, Psychotherapy, and Life Resources were selected.
Dankook University supports faculty members in strengthening their research capabilities even after retirement by introducing a distinguished professor system, expanding incentives for citation indices, improving research lab environments, and increasing research and development performance bonuses.
President Ahn Sooncheol stated, "Dankook University is establishing optimal research infrastructure so that it can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading scholars," and added, "To create sustainable research achievements, we are building a virtuous cycle system by fostering academic excellence, innovating research systems, and establishing industry-academia cooperation with the local community."
