Gyeonggi-do Selected as an Excellent Local Government for Child Policy '3 Consecutive Years'
Gyeonggi-do was selected as an excellent local government in the '2023 Child Policy Implementation Plan Performance Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
With this, Gyeonggi-do has received high evaluations for three consecutive years, following the Grand Prize in 2022 and the Excellence Award in 2023.
Gyeonggi-do achieved balanced results in the overall indicator evaluation. In particular, it received high marks in ▲establishing a linkage and cooperation system for child care and protection support with cities and counties ▲guaranteeing children's participation rights ▲creating a child-friendly environment and in the local government autonomous indicator category.

Lee Eun-ju, Director of the Child Care Division of Gyeonggi-do, stated, "The continuous efforts for Gyeonggi-do's meticulous and diverse child policies have once again resulted in being selected as an excellent local government." She added, "Gyeonggi-do will actively promote various child policies, including the ‘360° Anytime Care’ project, to create an environment where children can grow up healthy and safe."
