Seocho-gu to Hold 'College Admission Regular Decision Application Strategy Briefing' on the 16th
Applications Accepted from the 5th on Seocho-gu Education Support Center Website
Seocho-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeon Seong-su) will hold the ‘2025 College Admission Regular Decision Support Strategy Briefing Session’ on the 16th of this month, two days after the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test, to help students and parents resolve their college admission concerns. The event will take place in the large auditorium on the 2nd floor of the district office.
The briefing session, starting at 10 a.m. on the 16th, will last for 120 minutes and feature top domestic admission experts. It will provide a quick and comprehensive overview of key college admission information immediately following the CSAT.
This briefing session is an ‘all-in-one’ special lecture that gathers essential information and admission strategies related to regular decision college admissions. The lecture will be divided into two parts, led by the CEO of Jongro Academy and the Director of Jongro Academic Development Institute. CEO Lim Seong-ho of Jongro Academy will cover topics such as ▲2025 regular decision admission cutoff score predictions ▲changes due to the expansion of medical school quotas and non-major selection, helping students understand their standing and devise advantageous strategies. Following this, Director Jang Moon-seong of Jongro Academic Development Institute will provide detailed explanations on ▲college admission schedules and checklist items ▲admission competition rate predictions ▲analysis of regular decision recruitment guidelines of major universities in the metropolitan area, covering key points that should not be missed.
To participate in the briefing session, applicants can register on the Seocho-gu Education Support Center website from the 5th to the 12th of this month. Registration is limited to the first 180 applicants. For students unable to attend, the session video will be posted on the YouTube channel ‘SeochoRunTV’ after the event.
On the day of the briefing session, from 1 p.m., a 1:1 provisional scoring consultation with admission expert consultants will be held in the large conference room on the 5th floor of the district office. This provisional scoring consultation is designed for students who need counseling before essay tests, interviews, and university-specific exams. Registration for this consultation is open from the 5th to the 12th on the Seocho-gu Education Support Center website, limited to the first 80 applicants.
Additionally, starting from the following week on the 19th, ‘1:1 customized regular decision counseling’ by admission expert consultants will continue until the end of December at four local education support centers (Bangbae, Seocho, Banpo·Jamwon, Yangjae·Naegok). Registration opens on the Seocho-gu Education Support Center website from the 19th and targets 400 high school seniors and their parents in the district.
