Kia K5 Facelift Released... Basic Trim Added with Lower Price
Kia launched the mid-size sedan K5 facelift model, 'The 2025 K5,' on the 4th. A new 'Smart Selection' trim was added to the 2.0 gasoline model. This is a new base model that removes some features from the existing base Prestige trim and changes some exterior designs such as the front grille. The price is set at 27.66 million KRW, lower than the previous Prestige trim (27.84 million KRW).
Some features, such as sunvisor LED lights, have been added as standard across all trims. From the Prestige trim, features that were previously optional, such as steering wheel vibration warning and leather/heated steering wheel, are now standard. The mid-level Noblesse trim adds driver posture memory system, and the premium Signature trim adds features like rear seat heated seats and manual rear side sun curtains.
The 2.0 LPi rental car model comes standard with front seat ventilation and allows preferred options such as a power driver's seat. Considering its use as a taxi, dedicated wiring is available to enable cheaper installation of aftermarket equipment like meters.
Prices range from 27.66 million to 35.22 million KRW for the 2.0 gasoline, 29.32 million to 36.01 million KRW for the 1.6 gasoline turbo, 32.50 million to 38.86 million KRW for the 2.0 hybrid, and 29.20 million to 32.82 million KRW for the 2.0 LPi. The 2.0 LPi rental car is priced between 25.07 million and 27.74 million KRW.
