'Management Dispute' FnGuide Appoints Minseok Jeon as New CEO

In fact, with Hwacheon Group effectively winning the management rights dispute, Jeon Min-seok, an inside director (pictured), was appointed as the new CEO of the financial information provider FnGuide.
FnGuide announced on the 31st of last month that it had resolved the agenda to appoint former inside director Jeon as CEO. Jeon, who was appointed as an inside director in March, is the son-in-law of Kwon Young-yeol, chairman of Hwacheon Group.
Lee Cheol-soon, who was aligned with former CEO Kim Gun-ho, stepped down before completing his term, which was set to last until March 2026.

Meanwhile, on the same day, FnGuide held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and elected Kwon Hyung-seok, CEO of Hwacheon Construction & Machinery, and Kwon Hyung-woon, CEO of Hwacheon Machinery, as non-executive directors.
