World Vision Donates 400 Million Won in Educational Welfare Funds to Chungnam Office of Education
The Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam Regional Office of World Vision has donated 400 million KRW in support funds for children from vulnerable groups in the Chungnam area.
On the 31st, Kim Ji-cheol, the Superintendent of Chungnam Office of Education, received 457.9 million KRW in educational welfare support funds from the Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam Regional Office of World Vision at the provincial education office.
Since signing an agreement with the Chungnam Office of Education in 2018 to support educational welfare, the Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam Regional Office of World Vision has provided a total of approximately 2.06 billion KRW to 2,209 individuals over the past seven years.
The support funds are being used for projects to promote the welfare of children and adolescents in the Chungnam area, including meal support for those in need.
Kim Ji-cheol, the Superintendent, said, "I would like to thank World Vision for their support for students who are in the blind spots of educational welfare," and added, "We will continue to do our best to ensure the safety and happiness of every child."
