‘2024 1st Royal Park City Content Contest’ Held
- Royal Park City II and the Colorful Themed 'Royal Park' Opening Commemorative Contest
- Awards in Video and Photo Categories, Submissions Accepted from November 7 to 17
DK Asia announced that it will hold the ‘2024 1st Royal Park City Content Contest,’ which captures the nature, culture, and emotions of Royal Park, developed as a 5th generation high-end apartment complex Royal Park City II and opened with five themed gardens.
Under the theme “Becoming a K-Garden Work,” this contest was planned to commemorate the creation of Royal Park City II, consisting of 21,313 households with diverse themes, and the establishment of Korea’s best-ever themed gardens. Through this event, DK Asia plans to widely promote the uniqueness of the 5th generation luxury K-Garden, the first of its kind in Korea, and the beauty of the five gardens created with various themes, while significantly contributing to the development of local culture and arts.
Royal Park, developed with five themed gardens in Royal Park City II, embodies nature, culture, and emotion. First, the ‘Picnic Garden’ is designed with the concept of bringing a forest into the city, featuring a pergola with a dome (roof) where visitors can rest while strolling through the forest. The ‘Royal Garden’ is entered through a castle gate guarded by large soldiers and includes a large-scale sculptural fountain typical of Europe, along with a fir forest path, allowing visitors to experience both nature and culture. The ‘Family Garden’ is a lawn plaza inspired by Central Park in downtown New York, equipped with large-scale water features and sports facilities, making it ideal for family exercise. The ‘Flower Garden’ is a flower garden themed around seasonal blooming flowers, hosting various events such as concerts and flower viewing, capturing nature and emotion. The ‘Kids Water Garden’ is themed around whales living in the sea, with fountains installed on the ground that spray water like whales spouting, ensuring children’s laughter continues throughout the year.
Submissions are divided into video and photo categories. Applications are accepted from November 7 to November 17. To apply, participants must submit an online application form through the Royal Park City II website and send their works via email. When submitting works, participants must also provide links to videos or photos posted on online communities (Areumzip, Hogangnono, personal SNS, etc.). To enhance the quality of submissions, tour applications for filming can also be made through the Royal Park City II website.
Judging results will be individually notified in early December. To ensure fairness, the Korean Photographers Association (Incheon branch) and the private broadcaster OBS in the Gyeonggi and Incheon regions will conduct the judging. ‘Likes’ and ‘views’ received on personal SNS will also be considered during the evaluation. Awards will be given separately for video and photo categories, with a grand prize of 3 million KRW for one work and a total prize pool of 23 million KRW awarded to 46 works.
