Oh Young-joo (right), Minister of SMEs and Startups, and Kim Sung-tae (second from right), President of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, are informing office workers commuting near the Guro-dong branch of IBK Industrial Bank in Guro-gu, Seoul, on the 28th about the 'IBK SME Employee Preferential Savings.' The SME Employee Preferential Savings is a flexible installment savings product allowing monthly deposits ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 KRW. If the employee completes the 5-year deposit period, the company will additionally deposit 20% of the savings amount, which will be paid to the employee at maturity. The maximum interest rate is 5.0% per annum (before tax), with a base rate of 3.0% and a preferential rate of up to 2.0 percentage points.
