Iran: "Drone attack on Netanyahu's residence carried out by Hezbollah"
Iran has identified the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah as the force behind the drone attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence.
On the 19th (local time), according to AFP, Iran's UN delegation responded to a query from the Iranian state news agency IRNA about Iran's role in the attack, stating, "This action was carried out by Hezbollah."

Prime Minister Netanyahu also blamed Hezbollah upon hearing the news of the attack on his residence. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office stated that neither the Prime Minister nor his wife were at home during the airstrike and that there were no casualties. In a statement, Netanyahu warned, "Hezbollah, the Iranian proxy that attempted to assassinate me and my wife today, has made a grave mistake," adding, "Those who seek to harm Israeli citizens from Iran and its Axis of Evil partners will pay a heavy price."
In response, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson denied the allegations, saying, "(Israel) is spreading lies."
Hezbollah claimed to have launched multiple rocket attacks on northern and central Israel that day but has yet to acknowledge the attack on Netanyahu's residence.
