Activist Fund Align Sends Letter to Doosan Bobcat Demanding Shareholder Returns

Domestic activist fund Align Partners has reportedly sent a letter to Doosan Bobcat demanding an expansion of shareholder returns.
According to the business and investment banking (IB) industries on the 18th, Align Partners sent a letter to Doosan Bobcat after acquiring a portion of its shares on the 15th.
In the letter, Align Partners is said to have demanded an increase in shareholder return rates such as dividends. However, the exact amount of Doosan Bobcat shares held by Align Partners has not been confirmed.
Doosan Bobcat is a company that Doosan Group recently attempted to merge with Doosan Robotics during its business restructuring process but withdrew the merger through a comprehensive stock swap due to shareholder opposition.
