Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Hosts 'College Life and Career Seminar Camp' for Adult Learners
Supporting College Life Adaptation and Discovering Startup Ideas to Help Design the Second Act of Life
Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Tae-sang) held a "College Life and Career Seminar Camp" for adult learners at Dongwon Resort in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam from the 11th to the 12th.
This camp was organized to help adult learners adapt to college life and support the continuity of successful college life and academic achievement. Adult learners participating in the camp took time to understand their own characteristics and make concrete plans for their future careers.
In particular, the camp featured expert lectures, practical workshops, and design thinking programs specialized in employment and entrepreneurship to discover startup ideas and support commercialization, which were very popular among adult learners.
Jung Yong-ju, Director of Student Employment Support at Gyeongnam Information University, said, “The program provided practical help to adult learners, and participant satisfaction was high. We will continue to strive to support adult learners in adapting to college life, improving academic achievement, and planning their second chapter in life.”

Gyeongnam Information University is receiving great attention from the local community by operating educational programs for adult learners as part of its role as a representative community college in Busan. For adults who wish to realize their dreams of reemployment, entrepreneurship, and new learning, the university is recruiting new students in a total of 26 departments for the 2025 academic year.
