This event, held onboard the advanced training ship Baekgyeong-ho of Pukyong National University (Captain: Professor Ryu Kyungjin), was a software (SW) competition with a total prize of 4.5 million KRW. The aim was to develop creative ideas in fields such as finance and maritime fisheries into feasible solutions.


In this competition, six teams of university students (a total of 20 participants) who passed the project proposal screening collaborated on SW projects onboard Baekgyeong-ho, competing while sailing around Suyeong Bay and the southern coast.


As a result, the team of Kang Dawon, Park Jayoon, Lee Siwon, and Jin Kyungwon from the Big Data Convergence major at Pukyong National University won the grand prize (President’s Award) of 2 million KRW for their project on 'Analysis of Roadkill Risk Zones and Notification Service'.


Following this, the team of Park Yerin and Lee Sowon from Dong-A University’s Business Administration Department, and Kim Namgi from Dong-Eui University’s Industrial Management Big Data Engineering Department, won the excellence award (Dean of College of Engineering Award) of 1 million KRW for their project on 'Detection of Abnormal Driver Behavior in the Transportation Industry Using Image Learning'.
