Group BTS member V received the Japan Record Association Gold Disc 'Platinum' certification for his solo album 'Layover'.
On the 10th, the Japan Record Association announced that V's 'Layover' achieved 'Platinum' certification by recording cumulative shipments of over 250,000 copies as of last month.
The Japan Record Association awards Gold Disc certifications monthly based on cumulative shipments of singles and albums: 'Gold' (over 100,000 copies), 'Platinum' (over 250,000 copies), 'Double Platinum' (over 500,000 copies), 'Triple Platinum' (over 750,000 copies), and 'Million' (over 1,000,000 copies).

'Layover' is the first Gold Disc 'Platinum' certified album V has earned as a solo artist. Despite being released over a year ago, it has continued steady sales, adding meaningful records.
