The traffic system at the intersection in front of the Hyundai Motor Company delivery center, which has been experiencing chronic traffic congestion, will be improved.
The city of Ulsan will begin construction to improve the intersection in front of the Hyundai Motor Company delivery center in order to facilitate smooth vehicle flow and prevent traffic accidents.
The intersection in front of the Hyundai Motor Company delivery center has long experienced severe congestion during rush hours due to large cargo trucks transporting parts from the nearby Hyundai Motor Company to the module complex or parts suppliers, prompting continuous demands from citizens for countermeasures.
In response, the city of Ulsan plans to invest a total project cost of approximately 600 million KRW, starting improvement construction this month and aiming for completion by December.
The city will expand the right-turn lane from Yeomporo to Autovalley-ro from a single lane to two lanes to improve vehicle flow. In addition, it plans to secure pedestrian safety by installing improved sidewalks and elevated crosswalks.
