'Donong Eoullim Festival' to be Held at Yongin Nongchon Theme Park on 12th-13th
Various Performances, Exhibitions, and Experiences... Agricultural Product Sales and Food Booths Also Available
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 4th that it will hold the 'Urban-Rural Harmony Festival' over two days on the 12th and 13th at the Rural Theme Park located in Wonsam-myeon, Cheoin-gu, allowing city residents to experience various agricultural activities in nature and find healing.
Under the theme of 'The Meeting of Notes and Rests,' this festival will feature various performances such as sand art, circus, fusion gugak (traditional Korean music), and jazz on the lawn stage of the Rural Theme Park.
Visitors can enjoy the autumn atmosphere through exhibitions of orchids and chrysanthemum bonsai, landscape photography, and autumn-themed photo zones, as well as participate in various hands-on activities such as making cheonggyul syrup, mushroom soap, terrariums, plaster air fresheners, and pottery wheel throwing.
There will also be booths where local agricultural products can be purchased on-site. Visitors can buy flowers such as bulb plants, wildflowers, and succulents; fermented sauces like doenjang and gochujang; vegetables including wild greens and green onions; processed agricultural products made from honey and ginger; and livestock products at affordable prices.
The Korea Life Improvement Yongin City Association and the Korea Women Farmers Yongin Special City Association will operate a market selling various foods such as bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes), baby potatoes, and jeonbyeong (Korean pancakes).

A city official said, "We planned the festival so that citizens can relax in the countryside during the season of abundant harvest," adding, "It will be a time to heal while enjoying sweet music and fresh agricultural products in nature."
