The government held a Cabinet meeting and submitted a request for reconsideration regarding the so-called 'Kim Geon-hee Special Prosecutor Act' and others.
On the morning of the 30th, the government held a Cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and submitted requests for reconsideration on ▲ the Kim Geon-hee Special Prosecutor Act ▲ the Marine Corps Fallen Soldier Case Special Prosecutor Act ▲ the Local Currency Act, among others.

At the Cabinet meeting held that day, the "Act on the Appointment of a Special Prosecutor for the Investigation of the Stock Price Manipulation Case Involving President Yoon Seok-yeol's Spouse Kim Geon-hee" defines eight allegations, including the Deutsche Motors stock price manipulation case in which Kim Geon-hee is suspected to be involved, as subjects of investigation.
The "Act on the Appointment of a Special Prosecutor for the Investigation of Obstruction and Cover-up in the Case of the Fallen Marine" aims to uncover the truth behind allegations of improper external pressure during the investigation of the case in which Marine Corporal Chae went missing and died while searching for missing persons at a flood disaster site in July last year.
The "Amendment to the Act on the Promotion of Local Love Gift Certificates" focuses on changing the financial support necessary for the operation of local love gift certificates for the government and local governments from a discretionary nature to an obligatory one.
