The 'Citizens' Jury System' is a system where citizens directly participate to check and evaluate the status of pledge implementation. Previously, the city, together with the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters, selected 35 citizen jurors aged 18 and over from Hwaseong citizens through random ARS drawing and telephone interviews, considering gender, age, and region.
The meeting proceeded in the order of ▲appointment of citizen jurors ▲education on the manifesto movement and citizen jurors ▲formation of subgroups and discussions. Starting with this first meeting, the citizen jury will hold in-depth discussions and deliberate on agenda items regarding necessary adjustments to pledge projects according to the city's conditions and policy changes over three sessions until the 21st of next month. The city plans to disclose the process and results of the citizen jury meetings on the Hwaseong City website in December.
