Korea Housing Finance Corporation Provides Jobs and Improves Housing Conditions for Vulnerable Groups
Provision of Cleaning and Disinfection Services for Vulnerable Groups in Busan
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) delivered a donation to the Busan Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Lee Sutae) through its social contribution initiative, 'HF Clean House'.
'HF Clean House' is an HF Corporation social contribution activity that provides cleaning and disinfection support to housing-vulnerable groups.
HF Corporation, together with the Busan Community Chest of Korea and the Busan Regional Self-Sufficiency Center Association (Chairperson Lee Seonju), will provide cleaning and disinfection services to 252 households among users of social welfare institutions in 16 districts of Busan who are classified as housing-vulnerable.
In addition, 122 self-sufficiency workers (those among basic livelihood security recipients and low-income groups who wish to work) are participating in this activity, and HF Corporation's donation will be used for improving the residential environment through cleaning and disinfection, as well as for the wages of the self-sufficiency workers.
Choi Junwoo, President of HF Corporation, said, "This social contribution activity is meaningful as it improves the residential environment of the housing-vulnerable and also provides jobs for self-sufficiency workers," adding, "The corporation will continue to strive to improve the residential environment for the vulnerable in the local community."

Through the 'HF Clean House' initiative, the corporation has donated a total of 282 million won from 2020 to last year, providing jobs to 461 self-sufficiency workers and delivering cleaning and disinfection services to 913 housing-vulnerable households.
