The items eligible for collection include business cards, flyers, and posters advertising harmful businesses or loans. Banners are excluded.
The public health center plans to carry out this "Illegal Mobile Advertisements for Standard Garbage Bags Exchange Program" from September 2 to October 31, and will consider expanding the program based on its results.
Director Jeong Heesook stated, "We decided to implement this project because indiscriminate distribution of illegal mobile advertisements in areas with a high concentration of lodging businesses has led to complaints," and added, "Please be careful about safety when collecting illegal mobile advertisements."
