National Unity Committee Youth Forum Cleans Up Cemetery at National Cemetery for Liberation Day

View original imageThe Presidential Committee on National Cohesion announced on the 12th that the youth forum 'Cheongnyeon Madang' members conducted social contribution activities at the National Seoul National Cemetery on the 10th in commemoration of Liberation Day.
About 50 participants in the activity paid respects to the patriotic martyrs and national heroes, then cleaned each tombstone in the designated burial area, planted Taegeukgi flags, and arranged floral tributes as part of the cemetery cleanup.
Kim Han-gil, Chairman of the National Cohesion Committee, said, "Cheongnyeon Madang is the largest youth advisory group within the government committee, proposing policies from the youth perspective and representing youth voices. We will become a National Cohesion Committee that works together with the youth."

Cheongnyeon Madang consists of 100 young people from 17 cities and provinces nationwide and serves as a communication channel reflecting the youth generation's awareness on issues handled by the National Cohesion Committee, as well as a youth-led public discourse participation body.
