In addition, a player must have won at least one of the following: a major championship, the Vare Trophy, or the Rolex Player of the Year honors. Winning an official LPGA Tour tournament awards 1 point, winning an LPGA Tour major tournament awards 2 points, and receiving the Vare Trophy or Rolex Player of the Year honors awards 1 point each. An Olympic gold medal also grants 1 point.
