Underwater Robots in Action at Taehwagang... Ulsan Fire Headquarters Conducts Underwater Search Training
The Ulsan Fire Department Special Response Team will conduct underwater and search training using an underwater robot (Remotely Operated Vehicle) from the 12th to the 14th in the parking lot area of the Taehwagang National Garden Section 2.
This training is designed to master the operation of the newly introduced underwater robot and to enable rapid search operations in harsh underwater environments where it is difficult to deploy rescue personnel.
The training will include ▲ understanding the specifications of the underwater robot (theory course) ▲ mastering the assembly of the underwater robot equipment ▲ simulated on-site search using boats, underwater cameras, and sonar detectors in the Taehwagang River.
The underwater robot introduced by the Ulsan Fire Department can provide real-time monitoring at depths of up to 200 meters. Equipped with a sonar detector, it can detect underwater objects even in challenging search environments. In addition, it is connected to an external power supply unit, allowing for extended use.
