Hosted by the Pyeongtaek Waterworks and Sewerage Office, this drill aimed to enhance rapid and systematic crisis response capabilities in the event of a disaster caused by a water supply accident. The drill involved related city departments, the Pyeongtaek Police Station, and water supply contractors.
In a scenario simulating a leak caused by the detachment of a large water main joint, the city carried out ▲ accident reporting ▲ emergency dispatch and road control ▲ water outage publicity and water supply vehicle support ▲ traffic situation information provision ▲ leak repair work.
The city particularly checked the response system to minimize citizen inconvenience during water supply accidents, including road electronic signboard guidance, disaster text message transmission, minimizing water outage areas, water system switching, and water supply support to outage areas.
