Dong-A University Business Administration Department, Company Visit on the Theme 'BADA Meets New Digital Era'
Visits to NHN, Korea Data Agency, Korea Fintech, Pilz Korea, and Others
The Department of Business Administration at Dong-A University (Head of Department: Yang Jaeho) conducted a company visit program under the theme 'BADA Meets New Digital Era'.
As part of the regional university activation project, this program was held over three days and two nights in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, with Professor Seo Juhwan as the advisor and more than 50 students participating.
The participating students visited companies such as NHN, Korea Data Agency, Korea Fintech, and Pilz Korea located in Seoul and Pangyo, where they gained hands-on experience in the data field and employment information relevant to the digital era.
In particular, special lectures were organized by Dong-A University alumni currently working in the field (Park Jaeun at Jiam Resort, Bang Sungho at UNNU Communications, Park Dohyung at Mokuchon, and Cho Irae at FedEx Korea), providing insights into the competencies required in various industries.
Professor Seo Juhwan said, "I prepared this program because I thought it was necessary for students to accurately understand recent digital trends," and added, "I tried not only to visit a few companies but also to introduce various companies through alumni who have recently been employed."
Im Jei (Business Administration, 4th year) said, "It was great to visit various company sites in person and vividly feel the beliefs, principles, and passion for each job, which helped me set a direction for my career. Through the alumni special lectures, it was a meaningful time to see seniors from the same school become experts in their respective fields, which gave me confidence."
