Man in His 70s Goes Missing While Mudflat Fishing in Boryeong... Police Conduct Search
A man in his 70s went missing while mudflat fishing in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, prompting a police search.
According to the Boryeong Maritime Police Station on the 5th, a report was received at around 10:37 p.m. the previous day that Mr. A, who was mudflat fishing with companions in the sea off Cheonbuk-myeon, Boryeong City, had gone missing.
The Boryeong Coast Guard, along with the fire department, military, and local authorities, is conducting a search operation.
A Coast Guard official said, "Upon receiving the report, we immediately dispatched rescue personnel to the scene," adding, "We will do our best to find the missing person."
