Yeosu World Island Expo Launches Official Sponsor Recruitment
For the Successful Hosting of the Island Expo: Official Sponsors and Supporters
The 2026 Yeosu World Islands Expo Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) announced that it will officially open recruitment for official sponsors and sponsors starting August 1.
Any company or organization wishing to sponsor can participate, and both cash and in-kind contributions are accepted. Sponsorship is divided into official sponsors (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and sponsors, and depending on the scale, various benefits such as the right to use the emblem, priority participation in events, internal and external promotion at the venue, and booth support can be received.
Applications for official sponsors can be made by visiting in person or by mail (including email). For more details, please contact the 2026 Yeosu World Islands Expo Organizing Committee or check the expo website.
An official from the Organizing Committee stated, “As the world’s first islands expo and an international event with participation from over 30 countries and 3 million people, we expect active participation from companies and organizations,” adding, “We will work together with official sponsors to secure island competitiveness and enhance island value in the international community.”
Meanwhile, the 2026 Yeosu World Islands Expo will be held for two months from September 5 to November 4, 2026, at Dolsan Jinmo District (main venue), Yeosu World Expo Site, Geumo Island, and Gae Island (sub-venues).
At the main venue, island-related theme halls, ecological culture halls, and future halls will be exhibited, along with various world island cultural performances. At the sub-venues, maritime content and immersive content are planned, promising to guide visitors into a mysterious island world.
