Gimhae City Offers Up to 30% Discount on Tourist Facility Fees During Special Travel Week

Gimhae City in Gyeongnam will offer significant discounts on admission fees to major tourist attractions from August 1 to October 31, in celebration of the 2024 Year of Visiting Gimhae special travel season.
During this period, visitors to four of Gimhae's representative tourist sites?Gimhae Gaya Theme Park, Gimhae Nakdonggang Rail Park, Gimhae Astronomical Observatory, and Clayarch Gimhae Museum?can receive discounts of 20 to 30 percent on admission and experience fees.
The city announced that it is operating the special travel season to continue the heightened atmosphere of the Year of Visiting Gimhae, which was boosted in the first half of the year by the Bonghwangdae-gil Todeogi pop-up store and special concerts, into the second half of the year.
The city expects that the discounted rates will increase visitor satisfaction and encourage more family visitors by providing discounts that can be enjoyed by all age groups.
A city official said, "We hope many people will visit Gimhae without burden," and added, "In addition to the discount event, we are running a variety of special travel season events such as social network service (SNS) events and discounts on SOCAR car rentals, so we hope everyone will take interest and enjoy the Year of Visiting Gimhae."
