An HMM official stated, "The new service was launched to respond to the increase in China-origin cargo to Mexico, driven by the 'nearshoring' trend where production facilities are concentrating in Mexico, which is adjacent to the United States. We expect that expanding this service will also help increase import, export, and transshipment volumes at Busan Port."
