"Very Proud to Receive the Award"
At the world's first-ever artificial intelligence (AI) beauty pageant, a candidate from Morocco took the final crown.
On the 8th (local time), the UK-based creator platform Fanview selected Kenza Riley, a virtual influencer from Morocco, as the grand winner of the 'World AI Creator Awards.' Larina from France took second place, and OliviaC from Portugal came in third.
The competition featured 1,500 AI contestants created by AI content creators from around the world. The judging criteria included beauty, technology, and influence on social networking services (SNS).
As a result, 10 finalists were selected. The competition ratio for finalist selection was 150 to 1. The judging panel then chose the final three, with the first place going to Riley, a lifestyle influencer from Morocco wearing a hijab. Accordingly, the developer who created Riley was awarded a prize of $20,000 (approximately 27.5 million KRW).
Riley said, "I am very proud to receive this award representing Morocco," adding, "AI is a tool designed not to replace human abilities but to complement them." She also expressed her gratitude on her Instagram, saying, "I am very thankful to have the opportunity to passionately showcase the positive impact of artificial intelligence and to thank AI creators." She reflected, "This journey has proven the power of innovation, collaboration, and our future values."
