Soonchunhyang University Selected for 'Integrated Bachelor's and Master's ICT Core Talent' Project
Training Specialized Practical Talent in Next-Generation Mobility Communication
Soonchunhyang University announced on the 3rd that it has been selected for the 'Integrated Bachelor's and Master's ICT Core Talent Training Project' jointly with Hoseo University, hosted by the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP) under the Ministry of Science and ICT.
This project, which will invest a total of 1.125 billion KRW with 250 million KRW annually until 2028, aims to cultivate graduate R&D personnel based on industry demand linked to specialized industries in the Chungnam region. Experts from next-generation mobility communication companies will directly participate and operate the graduate regular curriculum using the IC-PBL (Industry Coupled-Problem Based Lecture) method.
The project will be jointly operated by the Department of ICT Convergence at Soonchunhyang University, the lead institution, and the Department of Electronic Engineering at Hoseo University, the participating institution. To this end, a credit exchange agreement between the graduate schools of the two universities is planned.

Professor Han Sang-min of Soonchunhyang University stated, “This project consists of research and education topics based on regional industries, global company PBL to enhance global competitiveness, global internships, and employment-startup linkage programs through technical support from participating companies,” adding, “It will become a leading graduate education model for regional innovation.”
