Dong-Eui University (President Han Soo-hwan) has appointed former national fencing team member Kim Junho (Class of 2013, Department of Physical Education) as the ambassador for the Dong-Eui Centennial Plus Campaign, a fundraising event for the university's development fund.

View original imageOn the 24th, Dong-Eui University presented a letter of appointment to Kim Junho at the president's office on the 2nd floor of the main building, asking him to contribute to the university's development and help raise educational funds for junior students.
Kim Junho stated, "Through my student life at Dong-Eui University, I was able to achieve my dream of becoming a national representative and winning an Olympic gold medal. There are many talented juniors in various fields at Dong-Eui University, and as a senior, I will do my best to support them in pursuing their dreams."
Kim Junho was selected for the national team while still a university student and played as a member of the Korean Avengers. He won a gold medal in the men's sabre team event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics held in Tokyo in 2021. Recently, he retired from the national team and is now working as a playing coach for the Hwaseong City Hall team.
Dong-Eui University is currently running a special fundraising event for the university development fund under the slogan "Creating a great forest with small contributions" until November 30, aiming to expand the base of the university development fund and establish a culture of small donations.
