Palo Alto Networks Targets Korean Security Market... "Will Be Your AI Transformation Partner"
Announcement of 'Precision AI' Integrating Generative AI
Cybersecurity specialist Palo Alto Networks is targeting the Korean market with its new AI-based security platform, Precision AI. The company announced plans to strengthen communication so that it can be recognized not just as a cybersecurity supplier but as a partner in AI and cloud transformation.
Sangkyu Park, Head of Palo Alto Networks Korea (photo), held a press conference on the 18th at the Seoul Seocho-gu Korea office to introduce Precision AI. Park said, "Many companies have been using a variety of complex security products simultaneously, which has only increased operational costs without achieving security goals," adding, "With Precision AI, which integrates generative AI, customers will dramatically improve the efficiency of their security operations."
Precision AI, developed with the company's proprietary technology, uses abundant data and security-dedicated models to detect, prevent, and remediate accurate cyber threats in real time. In particular, it leverages generative AI to enable tools to interact with humans conversationally, while reducing costs and simplifying usage through a platform approach.
Park explained, "We are reorganizing our structure centered on target customers and industries, including strengthening dedicated teams specialized for large enterprises, public institutions, and small and medium-sized businesses," adding, "Since the cybersecurity environment varies by industry in Korea, we will deploy specialized dedicated talents across industries such as finance, manufacturing, and distribution."
Along with efforts to recruit excellent domestic cybersecurity talent, the company plans to focus on securing partners. Park stated, "We will increase investment in training programs such as one-month overseas training in the U.S. and Singapore for outstanding talents," and added, "One of our business visions is to contribute to Korea's economic development by expanding the overall cybersecurity business through hiring new partners."
He expressed his ambition, saying, "We will establish a system that takes responsibility for the entire customer lifecycle," and "We want customers to recognize Palo Alto Networks not as a cybersecurity supplier but as a true partner in AI and cloud transformation."
