Expecting Industrial Development through Global Investment Attraction for Promising Seoul Companies via CORE 100
Seoul City announced on the 17th that it is recruiting 'CORE 100' companies, promising global investment attraction companies representing Seoul. About 40 companies with domestic and international investment attraction records in Seoul's new growth industries such as artificial intelligence (AI) and fintech are targeted.
If selected as a CORE 100 company, the company introduction materials containing essential information for investment attraction will be produced and provided to investors through Invest Seoul, Seoul City's dedicated investment attraction organization. In addition to investor-company networking, support for participation in overseas IR, strategic consulting by overseas investment attraction experts and global companies, and opportunities to participate in overseas exhibitions will also be provided.
Especially this year, for 50 software-based companies, in cooperation with Korea Microsoft (MS), enhanced investment attraction opportunities will be provided, including MS cloud service support, technical education support, and IR utilizing the MS network.
Previously, companies such as PuriosaAI (AI), Glorang (AI Edutech), and Horizon Technology (Fintech) succeeded in attracting overseas investment through CORE 100 selection and special customized support. Various success cases continue, such as Autocrypt (autonomous driving, selected as one of Forbes Asia's top 100 promising companies) and Skia (bio, awarded first place at the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East), which are growing into companies attracting attention in overseas markets.
This year's CORE 100 companies will be selected through in-depth evaluation by investment experts, considering marketability, excellence in investment attraction, and readiness for global capital attraction, and recruitment will be conducted through the Invest Seoul website until July 15. Lee Hae-woo, Director of Seoul City's Economic Policy Office, said, "CORE 100 has established itself as an investment promising company brand confidently introduced to global investors by Seoul City," adding, "We will do our best to enhance the global competitiveness of Seoul's promising companies through various capacity-building programs and to develop Seoul's industrial ecosystem through global capital attraction."
