Culture Ministry to Dispatch 'Tourism Win-Win Support Team' Until the 24th
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization will inspect the overall tourism readiness at major tourist destinations nationwide from the 13th to the 24th in celebration of the "June Travel Month." The "Tourism Service Win-Win Support Team," launched in February with a scale of 100 members, will be dispatched to check for inconveniences in accommodation, transportation, and guidance systems.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will share the inspection results of the support team with local governments and related ministries to utilize them for improving the quality of domestic tourism services. Park Jong-taek, Director of Tourism Policy Bureau, expressed confidence that "both tourists enjoying domestic travel and foreign tourists visiting to experience 'K-Beauty' will experience better services through the support team's inspection activities." He added, "We will continue to inspect tourism service readiness during the summer vacation months of July and August, as well as in September, when the Chinese National Day holiday occurs."
