Heerim Signs Design Service Contract for 'Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Comprehensive Improvement Project'
Heerim Architects & Planners announced on the 3rd that it has signed a design service contract worth approximately 21.5 billion KRW with Incheon International Airport Corporation for the 'Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Comprehensive Improvement Project.'

View original imageThis project involves large-scale facility improvements at Incheon Airport Terminal 1, and in April, the Heerim consortium's proposal was selected as the winning entry. Heerim stated that it received high evaluations for its comprehensive capabilities, including technical skills, expertise, ideas, and experience.
A representative from Heerim said, "Our company possesses world-class design capabilities and construction management (CM) know-how across all airport-related fields, including new airport design, renovation, and expansion projects. We also have the most extensive experience in domestic airport projects and numerous overseas airport references."
Going forward, Incheon Airport Terminal 1 will be reborn as an eco-friendly and smart advanced airport through the replacement of aging facilities, functional improvements, operational facility enhancements, and the introduction of cutting-edge technologies.

Incheon International Airport Corporation plans to complete the basic and detailed designs by 2027, followed by extensive facility improvement construction, aiming to complete the comprehensive improvement project around 2033. During the construction period, comprehensive measures will be established and implemented to minimize passenger inconvenience.
