Yeosu City Introduces 'Whistle' Illegal Parking Enforcement Notification Service
App Notification for First Illegal Parking Violation
Receive Alert Services from Over 90 Other Local Governments
Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) announced on the 8th that it has introduced and is operating the illegal parking pre-enforcement notification service 'Whistle'.
'Whistle' is a service that promptly requests vehicle movement via app notification when the owner of a vehicle illegally parked is caught for the first time.
In particular, Whistle subscribers can receive notification services not only from Yeosu City but also from over 90 local governments.
However, the notification service is limited to enforcement cases by fixed CCTV and mobile CCTV, and cases reported by residents (Safety Report) are excluded from the notification service.
To newly subscribe, apply through the Yeosu City Traffic Information Center application page or download the Whistle app on your mobile phone.
Yeosu City will not terminate the existing text notification service due to the introduction of Whistle, but will restrict new subscriptions to the existing text notification service and encourage subscription to Whistle.
