It originated from a consensus that it is important for related ministries to timely establish policies and systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from buildings, and for local governments to actively implement them, in order to achieve the core task of 'green transformation of existing buildings' for carbon neutrality by 2050.
At the conference, directions for policies and systems to manage energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions during the building usage phase, as well as building performance improvement and energy transition measures such as green remodeling, were discussed.
