Lotte Rent-a-Car Electric Vehicle Charging Made Easier... Collaboration with EVsis
Lotte Rental announced on the 29th that it will collaborate with EVsis, a subsidiary of Lotte Innovate, on the electric vehicle (EV) charger business.
They plan to promote joint sales and marketing for EV charger installation and charging station operation. They will cooperate in operating EV charging infrastructure businesses and link the EV charging and rental platforms of both companies as well as EV customers.
Lotte Rental expects to enhance its competitiveness in the eco-friendly vehicle rental and leasing business. EVsis operates about 4,000 chargers in urban areas nationwide and plans to increase this by an additional 7,500 units by the end of the year. Both companies anticipate improved convenience and accessibility of charging services for EV customers.
Lotte Rental has the largest scale of eco-friendly vehicle operations among single corporations in Korea. It has also introduced various EV-specialized products. Customers who sign long-term EV rental contracts receive a full-care program free of charge. They also provide EV home charging services and battery safety care services.
