Research Alume analyzed on the 28th that Digital Daesung's expansion of subsidiary shares and the acquisition effect of the dormitory academy in the second half of this year will begin to appear in earnest.
Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at Research Alume, explained, "In March of this year, we acquired 50% of the shares of Hobup Gangnam Daesung Dormitory Academy," adding, "Hobup Gangnam Daesung Dormitory Academy is a specialized medical and dental college entrance dormitory academy established in 2019."
He continued, "There are plans to expand the temporary capacity from 840 to 1,200 people," adding, "It will be possible to accommodate additional repeat students."
He analyzed, "In February, the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that the medical school quota will be increased by 2,000 students starting from the 2025 academic year," and added, "Even if the increase is partially reduced from 2,000, it will act as a significant positive factor for the entrance exam industry."

It is estimated that Digital Daesung will achieve sales of 246 billion KRW and an operating profit of 33.4 billion KRW this year, representing increases of 16.3% and 33.5%, respectively, compared to last year.
