Gwangju Seo-gu Regional Children's Center Directors Declare Support for Preliminary Candidate Jo In-cheol
Directors of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Regional Children's Center Association declared their support for Jo In-cheol, the Democratic Party preliminary candidate for Seo-gu (Gap).
On the 20th, 38 directors, including Association President Kim Jong-yeop, visited Jo's campaign office and held a meeting.
The directors of the Seo-gu Regional Children's Center Association proposed improvements in the treatment of regional children's center workers to candidate Jo.
They stated, "Regional children's center workers play an important role in social welfare sites, but the improvement of treatment for social welfare facility workers has not been applied to regional children's centers."
They added, "The Child Welfare Act aims for universal welfare, but the care services of regional children's centers remain at selective welfare," and requested, "We ask candidate Jo to carefully review this and make policies to implement improvements."
