Gyeonggi-do Corporation Opens 'Smart Store' for Online Sales of SME Products
Gyeonggi-do Corporation opened an online shopping mall, 'Smart Store,' on the 18th to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) secure stable sales channels.
Since January, Gyeonggi-do Corporation's Smart Store pilot project has hosted 54 SMEs from the province, offering a total of 691 products.
Gyeonggi-do Corporation aims to onboard a total of 100 companies and 1,000 products this year as part of its business activities.
Additionally, it plans to support SMEs in generating actual sales through banner placements within Baedal Teukgeup and various marketing efforts.
Sales on Gyeonggi-do Corporation's Smart Store are open to any SME with headquarters or factories located in Gyeonggi-do. However, products that cannot be sold through online channels, such as alcoholic beverages and pharmaceuticals, or products purchased through overseas direct purchase or parallel imports for resale, are not eligible to apply.

Lee Seung-rok, Acting CEO (Standing Director) of Gyeonggi-do Corporation, stated, "We launched the Smart Store as a new business plan to establish a sustainable management system for Gyeonggi-do Corporation. We will do our best to utilize the know-how and networks we have accumulated to help increase actual sales for SMEs in the province and to secure solid profits for Gyeonggi-do Corporation."
