Now in its fourth year, this project aims to respond to changes in the digital environment and strengthen corporate competitiveness. Until last year, it supported digital transformation tasks for a total of 533 small and medium-sized travel agencies. This year, special support will be focused on small enterprises and small business owners vulnerable to digital transformation.
The eligible applicants are businesses registered as "travel agencies" under the Tourism Promotion Act and classified as "small and medium enterprises" or "small enterprises and small business owners" under the Framework Act on Small and Medium Enterprises and the Act on the Protection of Small Business Owners. Approximately 152 small and medium travel agencies will be selected, with support of up to 20 million KRW for the introductory type and up to 40 million KRW for the utilization type.
Selected companies will receive support to carry out optimized digital transformation tasks tailored to each company through expert consulting and capability diagnosis. Additionally, to enhance employees' understanding of digital transformation and their practical application skills, capacity-building training will be provided. After completing the tasks, incentives will be offered to outstanding companies based on performance evaluations.
