This is the story of Anthony Kim (USA), who returned to the field after 12 years. He failed to show his former skills in his second tournament since his comeback. On the 8th, at the LIV Golf Hong Kong (total prize money $25 million) held at Hong Kong Golf Club (par 70) in Hong Kong, he struggled with a 6-over-par 76 in the first round. This marks four consecutive rounds of over-par scores since his return. He ranked tied for 52nd out of 54 players. He made only one birdie that day, along with five bogeys and one double bogey.
Anthony Kim made his comeback after 12 years of seclusion at the LIV Golf Jeddah, which ended on the 3rd. After three days of over-par scores, he finished last. He prepared for this tournament by partially changing equipment such as his putter, but he could not deliver the expected results. Phil Mickelson (USA) avoided the last place by shooting an 80, 10 over par.
